D. Aluminium Aging System

Tan A’s aluminium production process incorporates a modern and sophisticated aging system, designed to enhance the mechanical properties of aluminium profiles to meet the highest performance standards. This critical step in the manufacturing process ensures that the final products achieve optimal strength, hardness, and durability.

Controlled Aging Process

After the extrusion process, where aluminium is shaped into the desired profile, the material remains in a relatively soft state. To improve its mechanical properties, the extruded aluminium bars are subjected to a heat treatment process known as aging. The steps in Tan A's aging system include:

  1. Preparation: Soft aluminium bars are carefully inspected and prepared to ensure they are free from contaminants or defects before entering the furnace.

  2. Aging Furnace: The bars are placed in state-of-the-art aging furnaces, which are equipped with precise temperature controls and uniform heat distribution systems. The bars are heated at temperatures ranging from 180 to 220 degrees Celsius for approximately 4 hours, depending on the specific alloy and product requirements.

  3. Quenching and Cooling: After the heat treatment, the aluminium bars are cooled in a controlled manner to lock in the enhanced mechanical properties.

Benefits of the Aging System

The aging process significantly improves the properties of the aluminium profiles, making them suitable for high-performance and demanding applications. Key benefits include:

  • Increased Strength: The aging process strengthens the internal structure of the aluminium, enabling it to withstand greater loads and stresses.

  • Enhanced Hardness: The treated aluminium becomes more resistant to dents, scratches, and wear, ensuring a longer lifespan.

  • Improved Durability: Aging reduces the risk of deformation over time, even under challenging environmental conditions.

  • Uniform Performance: The precise and controlled aging process ensures consistency across all batches, guaranteeing reliable performance in all applications.

Technological Excellence and Sustainability

Tan A’s aging system incorporates advanced energy-efficient technology, ensuring uniform heat treatment while minimizing energy consumption. This not only reduces production costs but also aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.

By investing in a modern aging system, Tan A ensures that its aluminium profiles deliver the strength, durability, and reliability required for even the most challenging environments. This attention to detail and focus on quality further solidifies the company’s position as a trusted leader in aluminium production.

E. Powder Coating System

Tan A’s powder coating treatment system, imported from Switzerland, is one of the most advanced in the industry. This technology is specially designed to deliver high-quality surface finishes while minimizing environmental impact.

Key Features of the Powder Coating System:

  • Durable and Corrosion-Resistant Finish: The powder coating forms a tough, protective layer on the aluminium surface, making it resistant to weathering, corrosion, and scratches. This ensures long-lasting performance even in harsh environments, such as coastal or industrial areas.

  • Customizable Colours and Textures: Tan A offers a wide range of finishes, including matte, glossy, satin, and textured options, in various colours to suit aesthetic preferences and functional requirements.

  • Precision Application: The system ensures uniform application of the powder, resulting in a flawless and even finish across all aluminium profiles.

Environmental Sustainability:

The system incorporates an environmental dust filter, which captures and recycles excess powder to eliminate air pollution and reduce material waste.

This environmentally conscious approach ensures compliance with strict European environmental standards, reflecting Tan A’s commitment to sustainable production practices.

Applications:

Powder-coated aluminium profiles are widely used in:

  • Construction: Window and door frames, curtain walls, and exterior facades.

  • Transportation: Durable, weather-resistant components for vehicles and infrastructure.

  • Furniture: Sleek, modern finishes for high-end interior and exterior furniture.

F. Wood Grain Film Covering System

In addition to powder coating, Tan A operates two wood grain film covering lines, which add a decorative and sophisticated touch to aluminium profiles. This technology replicates the natural beauty of wood while maintaining the durability and low maintenance of aluminium.

1. Process Overview

The aluminium profiles are coated with a special wood grain film, which is fused to the surface using heat and vacuum techniques. This process ensures that the wood grain pattern adheres seamlessly to the profile, creating a realistic and durable finish.

2. Advantages of Wood Grain Film Covering

Aesthetic Appeal: The finishes offer the rich, warm look of natural wood, available in a variety of patterns such as oak, walnut, mahogany, and teak.

Durability: Unlike real wood, aluminium with a wood grain finish is resistant to moisture, insects, and rot, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Low Maintenance: The coated profiles require minimal cleaning and maintenance compared to traditional wood, providing a cost-effective and practical solution.

Eco-Friendly Alternatives: By replicating the appearance of wood, this technology reduces the demand for natural timber, contributing to sustainable resource management.

3. Applications

Wood grain film-covered aluminium profiles are commonly used in:

  • Architectural Design: Decorative facades, window and door frames, and interior partitions.

  • Furniture and Décor: Stylish and durable options for home and office furniture.

  • Outdoor Structures: Pergolas, railings, and fences that blend functionality with natural aesthetics.
